Last post of the year....of the course!

Computer programming has officially come to a close....sort of. I still have to finish the final exam/writeup/application and then I will have finished all of my finals. However that does not mean that I have other small projects such as the reading reflection and my two page paper for Advanced AVP. Granted I am nearly done with the two page paper so only CP is important. Over the course, I feel that I have only talked about the bad parts about my life. This is somewhat true, if not exceptionally accurate. My time in this class was stressful but also warranted as it was difficult, or at least to me. As a matter of fact, I am surprised I have managed to do well because I am not generally good at thinking things out ahead and just jump into things. I have also realized about the people who I met in the class and I have seen their strengths in programming. Sam is good at everything, David was good at Jeroo (I know this because he keeps repeating it to me who was bad at Jeroo), and Tyran is also really good. And with a heavy heart, I have to say that, "I'm finally done with computer programming." There have been bad times, yes, but there have also been good times where I would think that I would be no where else. Mainly because it is 8th period and Cake day always brightens my day. Looking back now, I thought that the year would never end but I was wrong. From the beginnings of the class, I mainly remember doing privacy on the web, Scratch, Jeroo, and Python as the most memorable. I think I should also mention that my eyes often hurt because I stared blankly at the screen wondering what to do most of the time. But to be honest, who cares? I am still proud of the fact that I got out relatively unscathed, and by that I mean my eye health. I wonder if Nick Barber ever takes a break from being the host of World Tech Update. I sort of imagine him as a robot who just delivers the news when you plug him in. I think this way because he does not really age or change that much in the amount of time that I have seen him. Perhaps he has discovered the secret to eternal youth? Probably not. I think I am going to remember Nick Barber the most along with his award winning tech reporting. On the other hand, I should really start my write up of my app right now or else I am going to regret it later. So in a brief summary, I believe that computer programming has opened up my horizons......if I remember all of this over the summer...Hopefully I will otherwise I am a failure, but I probably won't.

Already the end of school...

Actually it's not yet but it's about to be. Next week may either be the best week of my life or will just constitute another woe, I am hoping it is the former than the latter. Let's just say that I hope Monday will not be another kick to the face, and I get to have fun signing yearbooks. Now I think that's enough of my depressing situation and move on to the more fun stuff. For the computer programming final, I want to make an app that will be something like a quiz where it will test whether you are an animation geek or not. I want to quiz people based on two factors, a picture of the show and a sound clip of the theme song or a catch phrase uttered by a character. However, I do not think I will be able to put in more than 20 shows assuming that I even get the files for all of them. I will also need to cite where I get all of them as well, can't be too lazy this time otherwise I'm going to anger another person. I was thinking of doing animated TV shows and films that people who associate themselves with cartoons should know. I think Sporcle has affected me than I thought, but I am still sad that no one has created a quiz for a category of Famous Animated Films yet or I have not found it yet. Either way, I'm still going to have fun. I can already think of some shows that should be on there like Pokemon, DBZ, Rugrats, Samurai Jack, Pixar movies, Hayao Miyazaki films, and etc. I really want to do more, but I do not think that I will have enough time to do all of them.

Gonna study till my brain explodes...

And now AP weeks is here....and I haven't bought a study book for French, crap. But whatever the written portion should be so bad, although listening is another story. I really hope that none of my teachers assign any more homework, I don't need the extra stress. I think maybe it was a bad idea to discover Civilization 5 over the weekend. I haven't been studying sadly enough. However, I think I'll be able to get through it fine if I just calm down by Tuesday. On a side note, to make all of my AP's be in the theater is a jerk. I mean, it fits a lot of people, but you can't write well in there.  It's a pain in the butt to say the least. They really need to make better writing pads on those seats. My last grievance is that they should space out the AP's since some are on the same day which makes studying harder and exhaustion more likely to occur. I can't even predict my AP scores, but there is one thing that I know for sure, I'll be burned out by the end of it. However......that means no more work!!!.......hopefully.....probably not. I just need to wait, 2 more weeks, 2 more weeks.
